Titus Jr: Should we stop them?
Bart: No... I'll get someone to keep watch over them.
Titus Jr: You sure? A Fusion rocket sound like something dangerous.
Bart: Even we had the resources I doubt they'd even get that far. They start a big project. Get part way through. Then get distracted by something cooler. I have my techs swoop in to help Rocky finsih what he started. Your mother and her people help your dad with his stuff.
Titus Jr: How often does that happen?
Bart: About 70% of our companies success is from finishing off what they started. By next week I'll probably be signing off on a marine engineering department.
Titus Jr: So our lively-hood is kinda funded by their adhd?
Bart: Or ADD, not sure which has which. But yeah; kinda.

So at some point it was revealed to me that I gave a character a certain trait.
Which at first I didn't realized I had done. But there we go.

Definition of attention deficit disorder (ADD)

:a developmental disorder that is marked especially by persistent symptoms of inattention (such as distractibility, forgetfulness, or disorganization) or by symptoms of hyperactivity and impulsivity (such as fidgeting, speaking out of turn, or restlessness) or by symptoms of all three and that is not caused by any serious underlying physical or mental disorder

Symptoms of ADHD can differ from person to person, but there are three basic types of ADHD. Each one is identified by the symptoms of hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention. When the main symptoms are inattention, distraction, and disorganization, the type is usually called primarily inattentive. The symptoms of hyperactivity and possibly impulsiveness appear to diminish with age but are seen in the primarily hyperactive/impulsive type. The third type has some symptoms from each of the other two and is called the combined type.

ADHD includes the symptom of physical hyperactivity or excessive restlessness–that's the “H”. In ADD (or what is called in the diagnostic manual, ADHD, inattentive subtype), the symptom of hyperactivity is absent. Indeed, people with ADD can be calm and serene, not in the least hyperactive or disruptive.
