One sunny morning in Station Square, a young human, named Lilly, smiles as she gets out of bed and stretches. She walks over to her bedroom window and opens it, noticing the bright sun shining down through the trees.
"What a beautiful day!"
Lilly smiles as a small bird lands on her window sill before flying back into the trees. She yawns once again and turns back, only to hear a loud crying sound coming from her bedroom door. She smiles and walks over to her bedroom door before kneeling down beside a small basket.
"Good morning, Sugar Plum~!"
Inside the little basket was a small blue-furred hedgehoglet, named Sonic. He was crying loudly and pounding his fists against the side of the basket. Lilly picks up the little hedgehoglet and kisses his forehead before cradling him in her arms and sitting on her bed. Sonic whines and lowers his ears as he nuzzles into Lilly's chest.
The young human giggles a bit before looking down at the little infant.
"Oh dear... I think someone's a hungry hedgie~"
The little hedgehoglet continues to whine but soon coos contently as he feeds off Lilly's chest. Lilly smiles down at the little hedgehoglet and holds him close as he suckles on her breast.
After feeding for a few minutes, Lilly gently pulls Sonic away from her breast and rubs his back, attempting to make him burp. Sonic whines and begins to cry as she rubs his back.
"It's ok, baby... just burp for mommy and then you can have some more, ok~?"
After a few attempts, Sonic stops crying and opens his mouth, letting out a small burp. He then looks up at Lilly, curiously, as she holds him close to her chest once again.
"Good job! Now you can have some more..."
Sonic coos and wags his tail a bit as he continues to feed off Lilly. After a few minutes, Sonic gets full and moves his mouth away from her breast. Lilly giggles a bit as she notices that Sonic's mouth was covered in milk. She picks up a blanket nearby and uses it to clean up his mouth as she pulls her shirt back down.
"Messy little hedgie~"
Sonic coos and soon lets out another burp as Lilly cleans up his mouth.
"Good boy~! You burped all by yourself~!"
Lilly smiles and puts the blanket down before lifting Sonic into the air above her. She stands up and sniffs Sonic's diaper before heading over to the changing table.
"I think you need a change, little mister~!"
Sonic squeals as Lilly lays him onto the changing table. He looks around curiously as Lilly removes his babysuit. She lays it next to Sonic on the table and untapes his diaper before removing it and throwing it away.
"Hehe, look who's a nakey hedgie now!"
The little infant kicks his feet and watches as Lilly cleans him up before taping a new diaper onto him. He then reaches over to his babysuit, attempting to help Lilly put it back onto him. Lilly giggles a bit.
"Aww, are you trying to help me, sweetie~?"
Sonic squeaks and sucks his thumb as Lilly walks over to a nearby cupboard. She looks inside and turns to Sonic, who was looking up at her.
"What do you want to wear today, sweetie?"
Sonic squeaks in response and Lilly giggles.
"Maybe I should pick something out for you~?"
The little hedgehoglet squeals once again and looks up as Lilly shows him a little red t-shirt with a yellow ring on the front.
"How about we start with this little t-shirt? You like this one a lot, don't you~?"
Sonic coos and reaches out, trying to grab it. Lilly giggles and pops the t-shirt over his head but then remembers that she had forgotten to put his vest on.
"Doh! Silly mommy... she forgot to put your vest on~!"
The little hedgehoglet continues to suck his thumb as Lilly removes his shirt before buttoning his vest onto him. She then puts the t-shirt back on over the top and straightens it out.
"There, your top half's all done... now, what do we need next, sweetie?"
Sonic coos as he looks down at his diaper before looking back up at Lilly.
"That's right~! You need some trousers~!"
Lilly looks around in the cupboard and soon pulls out a little pair of stretchy jean-like trousers and slides them onto his legs. She then lifts him slightly and pulls them over his diaper.
"There. Now we just need some little sockies, mittens and a nice warm jacket~"
Sonic wriggles around, getting a bit impatient and makes a little squealing noise. Lilly turns back to him and giggles as she slides a little pair of white socks onto his feet.
"I'm almost done, sweetie-pie! Just need to make sure that you're all snuggly~"
The litte hedgehoglet whines a bit but soon watches curiously as Lilly puts a small pair of white mittens onto his hands. He looks down at the mittens and soon attempts to suck on his thumb. He whimpers as he realises that the mitten was in the way and soon begins to cry.
Lilly gasps a bit and turns around.
"Aw, what's wrong, little angel?"
The young human soon notices Sonic attempting to suck his thumb and picks up a binky before popping it into his mouth. Sonic whimpers a bit but soon calms down as he suckles on the binky. Lilly gently runs her hand across his muzzle as she kisses his nose.
"Sorry sweetie, but we don't want you scratching your face, now do we?"
Sonic sniffles but continues to suckle on his binky as Lilly dresses him a small fluffy white jacket. Sonic sneezes a bit from the fluff and Lilly giggles.
"Awww, is the jacket tickling your nosey~?"
The little hedgehoglet looks up as Lilly picks him up once again. He holds onto her but soon coos curiously as she lays him back into his basket. Lilly kisses Sonic's muzzle and covers his legs with a small blanket before standing up.
"Mommy's just going to get changed, sweetie-pie... I won't be long~!"
Once Lilly walks over to her cupboard, Sonic whines and lowers his ears, not able to see her anymore. He soon bursts into tears and kicks his feet as his binky falls out of his mouth.
Lilly gasps and quickly walks over to the little hedgehoglet as she pops his binky back into his mouth. Sonic snuffles and looks up at her with his big emerald eyes.
"It's ok, sweetie... mommy won't be long."
Sonic continues to cry and wriggles around in the basket, wanting to be cuddled.

A few minutes later, Lilly finishes changing and runs over to the screaming hedgehoglet, gently picking him up. Sonic snuffles and looks up at Lilly as she holds him in her arms, smiling down at him.
"Shh, it's alright... mommy's back now~"
Sonic begins to calm down and holds onto Lilly's shoulder as she puts him on her shoulder and rubs his back. She walks down the stairs and heads for the kitchen before strapping Sonic into a little bouncy chair. Sonic looks down at the chair curiously and grabs one of the toys attached to it.
Lilly giggles as she kisses Sonic's forehead and walks over to the refrigerator, taking out some milk.
"Mommy's going to make herself some breakfast now, ok~?"
Sonic squeaks in response and smiles up at Lilly, cooing a bit. Lilly gasps a bit from his smile and claps her hands.
"Look at you, smiling like a big boy~!"
The little hedgehoglet giggles as he looks up at Lilly and reaches for her. Lilly gently holds Sonic's hand into her own and smiles down at him.
"Giggling and smiling already~? You're such a clever boy~!"
