Parcly Taxel: I had the first three panels of this comic done rather quickly, but I then got an invitation from Cadance in the Crystal Empire to give the Curly Frond Lectures on Contemporary Mathematics. She promised that I could work with young mathematicians there and I couldn’t hold back; the sheer number of crystal ponies I faced, however, dazzled me so much I was frozen in love for two days afterwards.
