Sketches of a pair of firearms.
The M404A2 Longsword is a selective-fire bullpup-style assault/sniper rifle chambered for .50 cal BMG. The lightweight carbon nanotube composite frame makes the weapon easy to carry. The weapon carries forty (45) rounds of ammunition in a double-stacked magazine. Multiple recoil suppression and muzzle climb methods make this weapon easy to use even for normal human beings, including a dual-chambered muzzle-mounted compensator and a recoil-activated momentum diversion mechanism. Selective fire contains standard options. Single shot, three round burst, full auto.
the M403A1 Dagger is a single/burst fire combat pistol with a uniqe half-stack clip configuration that vastly improves ammo capacity without altering grip size too much. It is chambered for .50 Action Express (AE). the taclight/laser pointer combo can be replaced by a 30mm mini-grenade launcher. the additional weight near the muzzle is part of the design, intended to mitigate muzzle climb. The slide bears a magnetic brake to mitigate recoil and exhaust ports along the top to reduce muzzle climb. Comes standard with a 14-round stack-and-a-half clip. Selective fire changes burst size between one, two, or three rounds.
