Here's part 2 of how to draw Amber.
Now, one of the biggest things I had to learn how to do when drawing dogs in general is their legs (and body which I'll get to in the next part).
If you look in the top left corner, you'll see the construction for her front and back legs. You can do it however you want (realistic with a skeleton, or with just shapes and lines), as long as you focus on getting the anatomy right. Take some artistic license and make them however you want. The important thing is to make sure they come out looking right.
