A portrait I made a time ago but I haven´t the oportunity of publish. It was an exercise for new effects for bodies and some details about anatomy.
I´m going to make more changes in the future, more specific with the anatomy, is weird see Bambi in a big body, full details... and small head. Is silly. :v

I am consider many options for the future, if I can of course. I am doing many tests, I don´t know but I find lately weird many muscles and few head or body.

maybe....try it with less musculature and hard edges / bones? Sometimes going simpler makes the forms easier to appreciate. I know you're essentially incorporating a human form and skeleton / muscles onto parts of deer anatomy, that's antro...a pretty heavy task! But I remember something I heard in a Disney documentary on when they were working on Bambi and deciding how to draw Thumper. At first they tried making him more realistic with muscle and bone and such, but to them it never looked right for the character. Then they tried using fewer lines, making him more of a fluff ball like he is today, and it made him a lot cuter looking and softer. I'm not saying your Bambi HAS to be a fluff ball though ^//^ Just maybe try it with less muscle and stuff.
