I saw a recent a Coolblue's picture, and loved the pose idea, so decided to make it as a 3d model, i'm planning to create a real figure of this pose If someone is interested on such figure they can contact me ^^
Their is way more than only three females. But yeah only three of them get all of the attention. Their is character like Tikal, Honey (both are canon :P) and maybe even Tiara who don't got many art for them.

Tikal is practically back story fodder. Even if she is hot. No idea who the last two even are. They must be even more of a side character than tikal... It'd be nice to get some art of the randos in a show but every piece drawn of a character most people don't appreciate, or worse, even recognize, is a piece that isn't a character most people appreciate and love. Why be sad that we got some killer Amy art? I don't even /like/ Amy and i like this, appreciate it more than I would whoever else it might have been instead. Baring tikal. She's smoking... :P

To be incredibly blunt, the characters that matter get their day. The ones most people have never even heard of, they don't. Tikal gets plenty of work. Even vanilla and cream get loads. Not as much as more important characters, but thats obvious
People forget back story characters who don't matter to the series. As harsh as it sounds to have what might be one of your favorite characters be relegated to an Extra, that's just how it works. There are ten unimportant uninteresting characters for every single character who gets the limelight.

I think what you're meaning to say are about how a lot of Sonic games introduce new characters, and the ones you describe as "important" are the recurring ones which are featured in multiple games.

I mean exactly what I said. They are largely negligible to the series. They could be any other character. Number of games doesn't matter if your role is always "background character number three". If your character exists in the game as nothing more than a thin plot device, or worse to fill out the roster of the other team, that character isn't important. And frankly that's the reason half of the sonic characters exist.

Zeena and Shade are two other Sonic gals that you forgot but would also likely put under your "unimportant" list. Wave and Blaze are another two omissions, though they've been playable in several games and so it's hard to consider them as "random background characters". Vanilla has plenty of art despite only showing up in an unplayable role in only a few games, so I don't think that background argument holds as much water as you think.
