Agreed! I don't like the fact that in some of the newer shows, comics, and movies his hair is really short and just completely flat. Like, they should at least make it super fluffy or curly if they're gonna make it short, kinda like how the 80s Casey's hair looks.

I think his hairstyle follows current man's hairstyles in real life... But it also could be, at least in Bay movie (2016) where Casey is a cop, that he's not allowed to have long hair. It could be serious risk in dangerous situations for example. But I agree with you, curly or straight long hair, like 2003 Casey has, should be always Casey's hairstyle :D
