Hope Rocket whirls her head to the shout, her lips drawn back in a snarl. She was the near spitting image of her biological daughter, orange coat and purple mane, only a slightly darker tone. She was a thin woman, the heavy coat nearly swallowing her up. "You!" she spits, seething at Fluttershy.

Fluttershy takes a step closer, her mind filled with the wrath of an angry bear protecting her cubs, "Leave. Now" she orders, leveling the gun at Hope's gut. Fluttershy didn't want to fire, but if push came to shove then Hope would have a gut full of non lethal bean bag bruising her flesh. Course, Hope didn't know about the gun being non lethal.

Hope Rocket growls to the other mater, "She's MY daughter!" she screams, wings outstretched, "You have no right to keep her from me"

"We do" Fluttershy retorts, "She lives with us now, this is her home, we are her parents, YOU can't hurt her anymore, now go away. Don't. Come. Back"

Hope Rocket glares hate filled daggers at the much taller pegasus before making her escape, flying into the night. Not a single tear dropped from her wretched eyes.

Fluttershy plops the shotgun down on the table before rushing over to the shivering filly, wrapping her arms around her as tight as she could. Large yellow wings conform around Scootaloo, encasing her in a cocoon of love. The police were called and the search was on, but for the tired duo they stayed huddled in the parent's bedroom all through the night, Fluttershy keeping a vigil over her daughter till Rainbow Dash got home.
