Here it is, Nether Matters. The story is about Desmond's binding to Giada and Chani becoming a Druid. It also fits into a larger story set around Desmond's family. Parts of it do tie into Size Matters 2, but you don't have to have read it to enjoy or understand it. Time wise it's set between Size Matters 1 and 2.
I've rated it as teen as there are mature themes in it, but no real adult content. The comic is split into 5 chapters and I will post a page weekly until the chapter is done. I'll start posting again once the next chapter is done. If I end up getting ahead I'll make that 2 pages a week. Will also be offering the complete chapter as a high res pack starting next week.
huh i figured the next story you would do would be chani finding her old freind again, but as a lore nerd i have to say understanding the backstory of the charicters and the foundation on which there freindship and love stands on is very apealing to me.

It was very tempting to that be the next story but it didn't really fit, and with A Story Never Told cancelled parts were missing. No spoilers, but this one does fill those missing parts so I think you'll enjoy it :)

there is a bit of lore i had a curious thought about recently, certain other completly unrelated stories i've read lately have me thinking about this general topic then i came to you world and the 'what would happen' questionmark poped up above my head
life, death, renewal and rebirth are very heavy parts of the world you have created but what would happen to someone who set themselves apart from from that cycle...that is if someone, out of fear, pride or a misguided sense of duty thru means magical or otherwise broke themselves off from that cycle that is to say, what if someone became immortal in this world, not asking if its posible just if it were what might happen to that person..would there soul, sepearated from the great tree too long begin to wither, or worse, rot? or would it have no effect on there spiritual side at all?

Funnily enough that was the core of A Story Never Told.
Very loosely the story was an elder dragon named Dirus removed death from the world with magic (which included destroying his soul), breaking the cycle with Luma. It ended up creating a stale world where no new life was born and the inhabitants had no purpose. The only thing that did start to die was Luma's presence in the mortal world and her strength in otherworld. This ended with the creation of Nether Dragons, the very first being Finlo... I'll let you join those dots :)
