Umm... Spoilers for Kingdom Hearts 3, if you're trying not to watch trailers or whatever.
2BIT is a sky blue fox from a special pocket dimension. This realm, known as Byte Space, has a strange, digitized look to it, but it is more of a cosmic place where the denizens monitor and manage the destinies of various other dimensions within the multiverse. They are largely offshoots of other "prime" universes that fall out of Byte Space's jurisdiction, but that doesn't make the job any less demanding. So, in order to manage, 2BIT split his own psyche into several other beings, able to help him carry out his duties in several places at once. They form up a team known as "BIT Squad."
2BIT was gazing into his crystal tube of viewing, which honestly, looks an awful lot like a kaleidoscope, and got a surprised look on his face. "Toys. Toy Story. Sora will be arriving in the world of toys!" he babbled. Gator peeked up from his work station. "I was able to find that out just by Googling!" he smirked. 2BIT glared at him. "Gator, let's leave some shards of the fourth wall intact, how 'bout it?" he asked. "Ooooh!! You're looking at SORA!? Let me see!!" Vixy ran over and tried to wrest the crystal tube of viewing from 2BIT's hand. "This isn't a telescope for creepily spying on people! ...Okay, that's exactly what it is. But it's MINE!" he shouted, "Where's Cupie with OUR Sora??" Vixy stood up straight, looking excited. "We have a Sora!? Why didn't you say so! Agh! I gotta fix my hair!" she said, rushing off. "I think she likes Sora!" Gator whispered. "Yeeeeah... What is your job here, Gator?" 2BIT grumbled.
Cupie soon popped out of nowhere with "their Sora" in tow, Lucky the cat. "Whoa! Wh-what is this place!?" Lucky gasped. 2BIT smiled and walked over to the black cat. "You guys'll love this. I've picked up a new trick. I can make people selectively remember my previous encounters with them." he chuckled, and gently tapped Lucky's forehead two times. With that, Lucky blinked and looked around a bit less awed, but a little disoriented. "Bwa...? 2BIT? Oh, you must wanna talk about that great destiny you said I have again..." he said, rubbing his neck, "I'm still kinda confused about all that. I really can't do anything special." Cupie chuckled. "Wow! Neat! It's like you can pause the conversation and pick it up later!" he smiled. Lucky looked at him and grinned. "Hey, a mouse... Hehe, I'm gonna catch ya!" he said playfully, leaping at the flying mouse who playfully dodged him. "No, don't eat me, mister cat!" he giggled. 2BIT shook his head. "Lucky, it's just a quick question. I just learned worlds like Toy Story are accessible..." he began. Lucky turned and smiled. "Oooh, can I go?!" he asked excitedly. "Erm... No, not there specifically. I want to know if there's any similar world you'd like to visit?" 2BIT asked. Lucky scratched his head. "I get a choice?" he wondered. 2BIT chuckled. "Well, I thought it'd be nice to give you one choice." he smiled. Lucky licked his lips as he thought it over. "...I wanna Find Nemo. Yeah, yum-yum..." he giggled rubbing his tummy. 2BIT smacked himself in the forehead. "No. No, no. You don't get to have a fish fry! Not talking fish, anyway! If you won't take this seriously, forget it! Tough road ahead for this Keyblade master!" he scolded. Lucky frowned. "Aw, I was just playing around! Wouldn't I turn into a fish, too? Some sorta catfish? I wouldn't eat a fish if I was a fish! Besides, Whisk should meet Dory!" he suggested. "Nope! Besides, now that we've established you're well-versed in Pixar, I think we forget it!"
Vixy ran in at this moment, her hair combed out and looking all done up for a date. "Hellooo, Sora-aaah?" she gasped, seeing Lucky. She glanced at 2BIT, and her face turned red. "You said...it'd be Sora!!" she growled. "Huh? Well, uh... We... MIGHT have a Sora somewhere... But he's not in play yet..." 2BIT said awkwardly. Vixy was holding a purse, and now she seemed prepared to use it as a weapon. 2BIT tapped Lucky's head to return his memory to normal. "T-take him home... I gotta...ruuuuun!!" he yelped, fleeing from the angry Vixy. "This is almost as bad as when I booted up Kingdom Hearts 2 and was stuck with Roxas for a week!! Augh!!" the lovelorn fox girl yelled. Lucky scratched his head in his memory-muddled daze. "I get the feeling she doesn't like me for some reason..." he mumbled. "Naaaw... Uhm... Let's get you home before you retain memories of this..." Cupie chuckled. "Hey, a mouse!" Lucky gasped.
