Character Description
Sora and Nicky are an alternate universe version of Sonic the Hedgehog. The only thing they have is that they share a single body. Each of them have his own mind and personality. They count as a Special Mobian, in which a Mobian (normal, magical or mythical) is born with extra body parts they successfully survive infancy with. They're the first one being a hedgehog.
Also, the alternate universe they live in is "Sonic in Two Minds", influenced by both the Sonic and multifurry series.
Personality
Sora is cheerful, fearless and likes to explore new places. He has a lot of courage to stick around with Nicky, whom he loves as much as he does. Even though he's a talkative hedgehog who speaks all the time, Sora acts as an "overprotective hedgehog" to Nicky and teaches him the way he does. He even had a tendency of light-hearted humour!
Nicky is a shy and quiet hedgehog who likes to read, especially in which he learns about history. He listens to his brother's words and tends to be like him. Despite his timid nature, he has a lot of courage, just like Sora does. Nicky often talks a little longer so others can hear him; that's because he's a slightly smarter than Sora. He tends to act as a "guardian angel" of the duo.
Both the twins are adventurous, athletic and mostly inseparable. They love being close to each other as long as they like.
Likes/Dislikes
Sora likes talking to friends, making jokes, video games, comedy and pop music. He loves Sally Acorn as his main love interest, although the blue blur is likened to a flirtatious Casanova.
Nicky likes reading, learning about history, watching romantic movies and listening to alternative-rock music. He loves Amy Rose so much hedgehogs have a perfect match.
The twins like running in perfect harmony, dancing to techno music, and of course, chili dogs. They both love each other and tend to stay together forever.
Sora doesn't like when Nicky gets hurt or anything rude to him. He despises robots that work for an evil doctor Eggman, especially Scratch.
Nicky dislikes getting hurt or anything harmful to him. He has a fear of which a person he loves is in trouble.
The twins both hate the evil Doctor Eggman so much that old school is cool for gamers. They share a phobia of water as well. Also, they have a fear of being separated from each other.
Background/History
Years after the Mobians evolved from the whole animal kingdom as well as a family of mythical beings, the twins first came up as a single blue egg. It came out of nowhere and arrived in a peaceful home for orphaned newborns, where Sakura adopted it. She spends time together with it and then, the egg hatched into a two-headed blue hedgehog who, like all Special Mobians with multiple heads, survived infancy after birth, becoming a first hedgehog being a Special Mobian. Sakura decided to name the hatchling "Sora" and "Nicky", because the heads have separate minds.
When they are two years old, Sora and Nicky were adopted and raised by a kind-hearted couple who lived in a peaceful countryside that's filled with friendly farmyard animals. As they grew, the twins taught each other to learn how to not only run as swift as the wind, but take turns controlling their body as they do so. They were later given a nickname "Sonic the Hedgehog" by fellow Mobians and special ones alike.
Sora and Nicky reached 15 years of age and decided to lead a double life with each other together. They started to explore the world outside, stay fit and hang out with friends, including girls who adore them.

World/Setting
Many years ago, when a magical comet hits the Earth, the entire animal kingdom that are effected by its radioactive mushroom cloud have evolved into Mobians, anthropomorphic versions of themselves they have become. Due to their evolution, this gives them hyper-intelligence and the ability of human speech. However, some of the animals remained unchanged because their projectiles made them immune and pure at heart.
Years later, the Mobians began to experience non-natural coloration, developing those with the rainbow of colors. However, some of them retained their own coloration which remained unchanged forever.
As time passed, the Mobian race began achieving stunning and unique kinds. Some have wings, horns and/or antennae that grant them kinds of magic while others are born as mythical beings with incredible celestial abilities.
Long after that time, a few number of Mobians of any type (normal, magical and mythical) began developing extra-additional appendages; heads, arms, legs and tails. These make them a special part of the whole Mobian race.
Years after that, a cobalt-colored egg came out of nowhere and arrived in a peaceful home for orphaned newborns. It later hatched into a blue-furred Mobian hedgehog with two heads, each with its own mind and personality. The right head named is a brave and cheerful one named "Sora"; and left head named "Nicky" is a shy and quiet one who likes to read. Even though they love to share a single body, the twin brothers obtained the ability to run faster than a speed of light, earning the alias as a portmanteau of their own names: Sonic the Hedgehog.

Each of the twins wear a friendship pendant: both forming halves of a yin-yang symbol. Sora wears a yin pendant which is white, while Nicky wears a yang pendant that can be seen either black or dark-blue.
