To be honest, they don't make rap like they used to- Grandmaster Flash was actually one of the better rappers back in the day. (That said, as you know, I've never been a big fan of rap...)

I mixed "The Message" a couple of times. At the time I made this one, Kate Bush (one of my true heroes) returned with the first album she made in years. If you heard "Aerial" it's incredible; it LITERALLY surrounds you in honey-coated ambiance.
I'd have to re-construct the loop I made for this mix (sampled from "Cloudbusting"). As far as the massive drum loops here, those are gone (they were in my first laptop).

I'm sure you'll work your magic somehow, just like you did for me before with "Cross-Pollination" years ago... ;) Even if you have to track down the loops- You're really good at finding all kinds of sounds for your mixes, which is a reason I listen to your mixes. :)
