Collect hands refs, even examples from other artists. Keep in mind the hand base is always the same skewed square but from various angles, basically there is simple patterns behind it. Just try out lots of variations with the fingers on another layer, for toons furs just think bendable wieners.
Plenty of cases you can just ref yourself in a mirror photo doing the wanted hand poses.. converting human hands to toon hands is pretty much just shortening the fingers but fattening the overall shape.

I do need to remember that there are ways to teach myself... for some reason I never think about looking up tutorials in the moment of drawing, rather, I just feel immediately frustrated at myself for not already knowing how to draw them in any angle or perspective by any means
In fact, the last drawing with Cicelio holding Autumn's behind, I drew the hand right on the spot in under two minutes and I have no idea how I did it, especially since it looks anatomically correct (in my eyes)
And I just went with the flow without using a reference (granted it's a simple pose and angle for a hand to be in)
So yeeee- I just need to remember that I can use references, and trust me, I have. I've worked on commissions and stopped to look at my hand to get an eye for it
