I helped design Nate as the mascot of 8chan. All I did was doodle a raccoon with the infinity symbol and people liked it. Someone colored him red and another person came up with the name. I wasn't involved in all the "lore" and family members that other people from the board gave him though.

Thanks for the reply. I don't use anonymous image board sites I'm only just a fan of these kinds of characters even in my adulthood. I figured out about some of the most taboo things when I was a teenager and my natural inclination lead me to find cute characters such as little cubs. These gives me an effective outlet for my desires I find, I might have PTSD though it's not confirmed however these characters help with my unusable stress patterns as well.
