Bit of an odd thing when you need to visually imply a character being blind, but the best way is the sort of same technique you use for brainwashed characters...
what does it mean when its 'unseen consequences'? unless the potion/tonic she drunk turned her into this and the side effect was that it took away her ability to see the new her. how poetic xD She made a concoction to change herself into something beautiful, only to find that she will never see her beauty because of it.
