I'll eternally question the weak move to having him lose the Kalos League. It would've been a stronger resolution had he won.

To be honest I'll be happier if it's a super tense draw. Why give him superpowered Greninja if he's not going to... I don't know, show some impacts? I get it, it's important in the Megalith Zygarde plot, but in the end the Greninja was still going away and the anime has one more excuse (but a lame excuse) to have Ash starts from the absolute basics. Yeah, I'm ranting because it's just dumb.
