Character Sheet for Dr. Antoine Dyer
Background/History
While studying an ancient culture which worshipped primordial gods, he received an ancient tome from a colleague with said tome turning out to be connected to the civilization he was researching. As he studied the book, Dr. Antoine Dyer became more and more enthralled by it eventually performing a ritual from within the pages to glimpse into the realm of the elder gods. This experience left him insane, believing himself to be the prophet of the Elder Gods and the one to usher in their conquest of Earth. After a crime spree and several ritualistic murders, Dr. Dyer became infamously known as the supervillain Dr. Illdritch. Originally a dog, he became mutated by eldritch magics which made him a dog-illithid hybrid. Since his metamorphosis, Dyer gained psychic abilities ranging from telekinetic concussion blasts to inducing horrific illusions in the minds of his opponents that drives them insane. This transformation also made it easier for him to use eldritch magics which he continues to grow more adept with. The threat level of Dr. Illdritch among the superhero community is often changing. Thanks to his insanity, his skill for schemes ranges sporadically between apocalyptic proportions to ridiculously nonsensical. One scheme, he’ll be retrieving key artifacts for a dimensional gateway to bring forth the elder gods, while a different scheme will have him mystically impregnating women with eldritch abominations to be the vessels of the elder pantheon ala Rosemary’s Baby. Whatever case, Dr. Illdritch is...well, one sick puppy.
