The wolf knew Immy was getting into soul manipulation, and thought it'd be sort of relaxing to have a mild out-of-body experience. The raptor was pretty perplexed by what he saw, though. Despite having taken several souls as glowing, lantern-like trophies for his house, he had never seen two spirits come out of the same person like this. Both different, yet intertwined. It wasn't possession, it wasn't a parasite... what was it?
When originally inking this picture, I tried to make the soul stuff look like ectoplasm seen in classical spirit photography, but it wound up looking super gross and inedible. So, instead, I tried to make it look like sticky, sugary salt water taffy. I'll keep experimenting to see how I like my souls to look. Gotta look tasty!
And it does look tasty... I'm sure the wolf won't mind me taking a few tasting samples, but it'll be hard to resist not just swallowing it all down...
