This was something I've been wanting to work on for the LONGEST time. Okay, not really. Pretty much since last year.

To sum it up, originally, this particular Zeria is in the service of the USN Armed Forces as a sniper unit. However, while I did wanted to make it completely Front Mission themed, I had no reference for the sniper rifle it was going to use. I couldn't get it from my DS as I wasn't far enough nor had I purchased it for the new game plus playthrough I was carrying out. Nor were there any images of it online, because let's just face it, Front Mission is a MESS when it comes to images and stuff. UGH.

Needless to say, a LOT of Front Mission weapons from the first game (And I think the next few as well) have a good number of their weapons taken directly from that of the real world. For one, the Zigler rifle is pretty much a damn FN Minimi LMG. So with that mentality, I decided to go ahead and substituted the Hexa G3 with a H&K MSG-90.

As for the rifle itself, I didn't bother making it a complete 1:1 replica. I didn't have the patience, but then I also realized that it was better to keep it somewhat loose to better suit the style of the franchise. Detailed, but not overwhelmingly detailed.

Overall, I am VERY excited for this to be finished. I have numerous other pictures in the works, so do be sure to keep an eye out for those as well as this whenever it's finished this month.
