Two more characters from my Zootopia stories. Everyone, meet Hubert Hemming's parents, Kody Grey's step-grandparents, George Jackson Hemming and Evie Blake Hemming. George comes from an old money family of plantation owners. While the plantation still produces cash crops, George doesn't do any farming himself, rather he has hired hands or has leased the majority of the land to other farmers since he is typically busy with his Family Medicine practice.
Evie also comes from an old family, the Blakes. She married George after High School and went to university with her husband, holding a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Teaching, though she never pursued higher education or work. Evie is a stay at home mother, raising 3 boys (Wilber, Bartholomew, and Hubert) and 1 girl (Bertha). Evie has spent the most time around their children, and is extremely protective of Hubert and Bertha since they are the only two of her children that aren't alphas. Because of this, she is the last member of the family that takes a shine to Hubert's girlfriend (later wife), Josephine Grey.
