Background: Cody Coyote is originally from Southern California. He was trained by some secret society that investigates supernatural activity. Several years ago during his training, Cody fell in love with a female yote named Gretchen. Suddenly her soul was taken by a demon. Cody chased after it and killed it. Gretchen's soul was free, but Cody lost her forever. Cody named his sword after her in her memory. Unfortunately he is also cursed; always being hunted and attacked by supernatural creatures. But Cody is so good at what he does he can fight 'em off with no problem. He spent a lot of time wandering through various dimensions. One day he fell through a portal and ended up in Southern New Jersey. He met Flash, Wesley, Shannon, and Mitzi while they were in college. Hanging out with the gang gives Cody comfort and a sense of belonging.
