Charkol is quite aware of the fact that as a species, charizard are quite viable to be quite helpful in a variety of situations. This is a result of being requested for help, be it from heavy lifting to utilizing his flight for speed or accessibility. In general, the fire-type is nice enough to hear most requests -- yet his politeness doesn't directly translate into benevolence.
Granted that someone's plight doesn't appeal to his better nature and move him to help out on his own, a sly grin and discussion of a proposition may open up if Charkol is willing to burn some of his time. It's not uncommon for him to wear his confidence on his sleeve, knowing quite well he has a fair bit of bargaining power for what he may want in return for his help.
