A magically enlarged cave dwelling species of amoeba common in mines, that feeds on metals and ores, and occasionally moss, rather than meat or vegetation. Most often often attacking humans for the metal objects they carry, rather than being after the humans themselves. Although being engulfed in an acid jelly can cause painful burns, their stomachs are not designed for flesh or skin, so permanent harm is unlikely and escape is not especially hard. Injuries are uncommon and fatalities nonexistent as the hungry monsters can usually by distracted by any suitably large shiny object long enough to escape. Despite this however, they are considered D level threats due to the damage they can pose financially to property and infrastructure.
Information for Adventurers
Acid jellies should be avoided at all costs if you carry a valuable weapon or suit of armor, however for those whose gear is disposable, they are nearly harmless foes, falling quickly. Acid Jellies travel either alone (50%) or in groups of 2 or 3 (25% e.) The bounty for capturing or slaying an Acid Jelly is generally 12 silver pieces though those found close to human establishments such as active mines can fetch much higher rewards. Acid Jellies do not carry items, and any items they have eaten is unsalvageable.
Information for Poachers
The acid the slimes are known for can be extracted from their stomachs with glass or ceramic tools, to be stored in glass bottles. Though not especially valuable on the open market, its ability to quickly eat through any metal can make jelly acid a valuable aid when adventuring.
Information for Tamers
Acid Jellies are not especially useful in combat, few monsters wear the sort of armor that they are so good at eating through, and those that do are often difficult for the Jelly to approach. Instead they are more often used in a non combat support and reconnaissance position, their ability to scale walls, slip through small holes and eat through restraints and traps can often prove of great value to a tamer. When taming an acid slime, male heroes would be advised that without magical protections non-penetrative stimulation is heavily encouraged. A warm touch on their surface and gentle stroking can make any part of their body grow to be sensitive making it easy to arouse and pleasure them them if one has time.
Mechanics

If a metal object is on the ground in sight of an acid slime without an object absorbed, they will spend their turn to pick it up and absorb it, at the expense of any other task
