Born on the planet of Altaicia, Basta’s family was moderately wealthy due to them owning a large portion of the galactic cartography business on the planet. However, Basta fled that life when she learned she was being forced into an arranged marriage.
Eventually winding up on the planet Ord Melul, Basta became a bartender at the a dive known as Shezmu’s Blood, and skilled one too. She kept her customers affable, drunk, and in line with a shotgun kept behind the counter and a sharp sense of sass.
However, her life changed entirely when she volunteered as the navigator for the Bounty and Contract Agency’s newest crew aboard the Dawn Voyager. Pulled out the safety behind the counter, Basta found herself being the only one in her crew with no combat experience, forcing her to learn rapidly on the fly.
Exchanging her shotgun in for a sniper rifle, after several missions and lots of training, Basta became the crew’s lead sniper and is the only remaining original female on-board the crew. Her confident and sass have return more and more with each mission she survives.
