Duniya is the self-asserted protector-goddess of Elysia.
Though she knows herself to be among the strongest of the gods, Duniya is neither boastful nor cruel - she serenely and steadfastly devotes herself to the protection of the planet and all who dwell therein, and will fight only in defense. She will, however, proactively seek out and destroy any perceived evil that remains a persistent threat to the world.
The strange weapon she holds is three-fold - when its four pieces are together, it is an unbreakable shield. When split into pairs, both are a staff that may extend as she wishes. When split into four pieces, each is a curved sword she may wield in a storm of blades. In general, as her patience wears thin, she progresses from the shield towards the swords.
