Lance loves his family very much, especially his sister Celia.  While he's competitive, he often backs down when Celia asserts herself.  But if he sees his dear sister upset, he does all he can to comfort her.

Laid back and typically carefree, Lance loves the feel of the air against his fur and skin, and hates having to wear clothes.  He also hates having his hair brushed, but will still fuss with it using his hands if it's a little too wild.

Lance hates thunderstorms, and as a child could often be heard running to his parents' room shortly after the first rumbles of thunder.  As an adult, his fear has calmed somewhat, but he still clings to Celia during a storm, though she thinks it's become more of a joke.

PERSONALITY PROFILE

1. People don't behave the same way all the time. In fact, they generally have a mask for every social group -- friends, family, business. Sometimes they have a different mask for different groups of friends. How does your character act around different people? How does their personality shift and change?

Lance is typically laid back most of the time.  When playing video games or in martial arts, he tends to become a lot more competitive.  Toward his family, he's a lot more affectionate than with anyone else.  Among friends, he's just normally chill and relaxed.

2. Your character has been brought to a party and promptly ditched. They don't have a ride back home. How does this work? How comfortable are they around all of these strangers? Do they interact?

He would probably roam through the party, not doing anything to gather attention, but not going out of his way to avoid people.  He'd probably gravitate toward the snack table or something.  Martial arts takes a lot of energy, after all.

3. It's kind of awkward - what subjects are likely to make your character hesitate, flush, stumble on their words, etc.?

Being hit on by an attractive female, or male, as he's absolutely committed to Celia and Ryan.  Even though he does find other people to be attractive, he tries not to think of them too much.

4. Is your character more dominant or submissive to the people around them? Do they tend to follow others' orders and wait for people to give them instruction in life, or do they charge ahead and make decisions on their own?

Lance is usually submissive to the wills of others, unless it's something he strongly opposes, or unless someone wants him to take charge.

5. What happens when your character doesn't get what they want?

He'll sometimes grumble a bit, and as a child he may throw a little bit of a fit, but he usually begrudgingly accepts defeat.

6. What's the character's self-esteem like? Does it change over the course of the story?

He has a healthy self-esteem.  Not so high that he's boastful or prideful, but not so low that he's depressed or self-loathing.  It's a nice balance, and it doesn't really change much.

7. What's one flaw about themselves that they hate the most and wish they could change?

He's not really a gracious loser.  He grumbles and gripes.  He'd like to be a better loser, but he can't get over his strong desire to win.

8. How does their personality shift when someone gets to know them well?

He remains pretty laid back overall, but he's more likely to open up when you know him.  Also, his competitive side lessens a tiny bit amongst friends, but actually gets much stronger amongst family, especially his twin sister.

9. Do they prefer time alone, or with other people?

He prefers time with his family, rather than being solitary.

10. Is it easy for this character to tell someone "no" when they don't want to do something?

Not really.  Not unless it's something he really doesn't want to do, like go outside during a thunderstorm or look at a spider.

11. If this character were to describe their own personality, how would they do it?

"I'm laid back and kind of chill.  Love my family.  Hate losing."

12. Is this character aware of their flaws?

Yes.  Yes he is.

13. How has this character's personality changed from childhood to adulthood?

He's matured a bit and no longer throws an outward fit when he loses or doesn't get his way.

14. Who influenced this character's personality? Did they pick up any mannerisms or traits from someone?

Unknown as of yet.

15. Does this character express affection? Are they comfortable doing so?

Yes, very much so.

16. When frightened, will the character "fight" or "flight"?

If it's something he can fight, he will.  When it comes to a thunderstorm, he's more likely to flee.

17. Does this character ever put someone else's needs in front of their own? If there are only rare exceptions, why is that the case?

Absolutely, yes.  Not usually to his own detriment, though.

18. If this character suffered amnesia and lost all their memories, what would they be like?

He'd probably be very lost and confused and maybe angry at fate for taking his life away from him.

19. How does the character's living space reflect their personality?

Not much that I know of.

20. What's one thing that other characters wish they could change about this character's personality?

For the most part, they wish he wasn't so competitive.  His twin sister would love it if he'd stop trying so hard to win, 'cause she hates to lose as much as he does.

EMOTIONAL PROFILE

1. How easy is it for your character to feel anger? What's usually a good tip off that they're experiencing it? (Physical reactions, movements, etc.)

It's not too easy.  It usually takes a lot to get him riled up.  When angry, he usually speaks with a steady, deliberate tone, and his demeanor becomes rather serious.

2. What state of mind is the character usually in?

Calm and carefree, generally.  Unless he's in a competitive environment, then he's all serious face.

3. Are there any emotions the character is particularly afraid of, or really resents having to feel?

He doesn't like getting angry.  He tries to resolve whatever the issue is with a calm mind and without letting himself get worked up, but sometimes things get out of hand.

4. How easily does this character trust their feelings with others? Has anyone ever betrayed them? If so, how did it affect their ability to trust?

No one has betrayed him, but he's kind of reserved amongst strangers.  With friends and family he's a lot more open with his feelings.

5. Can this character easily hide their emotions?

I think he can, yes.

6. How well can this character resist their emotions and impulses?

He's got a decent control of his emotions.  Not sure about his impulses.

7. Does this character ever get violent (with others, objects, themselves) when feeling any certain emotions?

No, violence is always a last resort for him.  That's part of his martial arts training.  If necessary, he will defend himself, but he is never on the offense.

8. Has this character contemplated suicide? What about killing or hurting others?

No.

9. Does the character have any triggers? Why do these things trigger them?

I assume this means triggers for abnormal behavior, and I'd say Lance has none.

10. What would hurt this character so badly they couldn't even breathe?

The death of his family.

11. What is guaranteed to make this character smile?

His loved ones being happy.

12. If the character could remove one emotion from their life, which would they choose?

Anger.

13. If they're feeling upset, who are they likely to talk to for comfort? Or do they keep it inside?

When he's upset, he seeks comfort in his parents (as a child), his siblings (mainly his twin sister), and later on his boyfriend Ryan.

14. How would this character cope with losing someone extremely close to them?

Well, he would cry a lot, but I think he would look back on happier moments.  Especially those captured on video.

15. How does this character look and feel when crying?

He has tears coming from his eyes.  How else would he look?  And he'd feel sad, because that's why people cry (mostly).

16. If the character had to live out the rest of their life either angry, sad, or frightened, which would they choose?

Sad.

17. Does this character tend to blame or punish others for their own emotions?

No.

18. Is this character empathetic, and tends to be influenced by the emotions of others?

Yes.

19. What is the strongest emotion they have felt? What event caused that? How would they react if that happened again?

I'd say love, on the day he married his twin sister Celia and his boyfriend Ryan.  Don't know how that could happen again, unless it's a vow renewal.

20. If the character were to come face to face with their darkest fears in a nightmare, what would be the scene?

Probably a psychotic murderer breaking into his house and murdering his family one by one while forcing him to watch.

PHYSICAL PROFILE

1. Based on the current diet and exercise your character has, where do you see them physically in five years?

Probably about the same he is at any age.  Trim, with some lean muscle.  Overall, quite healthy.

2. How agile is this character? Can they dodge easily? Or are they clumsy?

He's quite agile, given his martial arts training.

3. Describe the muscle content of your character. Are they untrained and soft? Or lithe and powerful?

He's definitely not a body-builder, but he has enough muscle, and he's trained to know how to use it if necessary.

4. What kind of body fat percentage do you suppose they have?

Pffffff.  I have no clue.

5. Do they have any scars? Where did those scars come from, and how did they get them?

No.

6. Describe some hairstyles your character has had in the past. What's their hair like now?

He's always had the same "style," which is messy.  He doesn't really like to brush his hair.  He's kind of like his father in that respect.

7. What are their teeth like? Any cavities? Root canals? Does their dentition ever hurt?

He takes good care of his teeth.  Maybe he's had a cavity or two, but nothing major.

8. Do their arches ever fall? That's painful.

I don't think so...  No.

9. How much endurance do they have? Do they easily get tired during a workout?

He's got quite a bit of endurance, thanks to his training.

10. How easily can they bear pain?

He's not a fan of it, that's for sure, but he can handle more than a typical person.

11. How long can this character sit still? Do they shift a lot when sleeping?

He tends to fidget when sitting still, and he shifts a bit during the night, much to his wife and husband's dismay.

12. What do their nails look like? Do they bite them?

Do anthros have nails?

13. How hairy is this character?

He's a cat...

14. What is the most imperfect part of this character's body?

Probably his spleen.  Well, not actually.  He's not physically perfect by any stretch, but I don't know what I'd call the most imperfect part.  Other than his untamed hair, but that's a cosmetic thing.

15. Do they get cold easily? How about overheated, or seasick?

Cold, no.  The summer heat can be a pain for fur-covered people, though.

16. How do they react to getting an illness? Think about sore throats, achy bodies, headaches, stuffy noses, runny noses...

He usually lays in bed and begs for his family to help nurse him back to health.  Sort of like a spoiled child, only he does it into adulthood.

17. Is this character's body sensitive to touch?

His feet certainly are.

18. How strong are this character's basic senses? Sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell.

About as strong as a cat's.

19. If this character had to permanently lose one of their senses, which would they choose?

I assume this is one of the primary senses, in which case he'd probably choose smell.  Though I hear that smell and taste are closely tied, so that would probably suck.  But he wouldn't want to be blind or deaf, or not be able to physically feel things, so smell it is.

20. Does this character have any unusual limbs or physical features?

Nope.

REFERENCES AND PEEVES

1. What's the state of your character's kitchen? What kind of foods do you find in it? Is it... clean?

It's relatively clean.  The family likes a small variety of food, from cereal to peanut butter and jelly, and even some pasta.

2. If they could only eat one type of food for the rest of their life, what would they choose?

Spaghetti and meatballs

3. What kind of clothing does this character like wearing and why?

He prefers to wear none.  Just be nude.  He doesn't like the feel of clothing on his fur.  If he has to wear something, he prefers loose-fitting clothes.  He doesn't really like the colder months because he has to wear heavier clothes when out and about in order to keep warm.

4. How does this character feel about piercings?

He has none, but doesn't care either way.

5. What's something that turns this character on? And what's a definite turn-off? Do they have any kinks?

Kinks are described in the character sheet.  Turn-offs would be any of the gross stuff, like poop, vomit, pee, that sort of thing, as well as pain.

6. How does this character feel about animals? Would they want any pets? What animals are their favorite?

Animal lover.  Prefers cats, of course.

7. What type of movie is this character most interested in watching?

Probably sci-fi.

8. If this character could master a skill instantly, which would they choose?

All the martial arts in the world.

9. Are there any behaviors that other characters do that irk this character? Does the character ever voice their annoyance?

I don't know.

10. Would this character rather create something or destroy something?

Create.

11. What kind of comedy does this character prefer? Toilet humor, vulgar, slapstick, morbid, etc.

Probably slapstick, and maybe some black humor, too.

12. If they could stay at one age forever, which age would they choose and why?

Regardless of his age, he'd probably want to stay at his current age forever, because growing older is scary.

13. If the character could only wear clothing of one color, which would they choose?

If he has to wear clothes, he prefers white.

14. Describe the character's favorite possession. Where did they get it, and why are they so attached?

It might be a karate trophy he won in a local tournament.  It's what he's most proud of because he fought hard for that win.

15. What is the character's favorite weather?

Rain.  He likes the sound of the rain hitting the roof and windows.  Just not thunderstorms.  He hates those.

16. Do they prefer sweet, salty, sour, meaty, spicy, or neutral tastes?

Sweet.

17. Would they rather sleep in a cold room or a warm one?

Cold, so he can snuggle under the blanket.

18. Are there any hobbies this character absolutely hates and would never want to do?

Any hobby that doesn't involve video games or some kind of physical activity.  Like stamp collecting or building boats in bottles.

19. What's the easiest way to annoy this character?

Beat him in a game.

20. Are their interests and likes socially appropriate?

Yeah, pretty much all of them.

ALL ABOUT HISTORY

1. Describe a scenario that has impacted your character and caused them extreme happiness.

Well, numerous events have caused him extreme happiness.  The birth of his siblings, Devin and Samantha; his marriage to his twin sister Celia and his boyfriend Ryan; the birth of his biological children, Adrian and Raven, as well as the birth of Ryan and Celia's child, Nathaniel; and the birth of his grandson Beckett.

2. What is the character's first memory?

His earliest memory is probably watching his parents have sex when he was three years old.

3. Has the character ever experienced deja vu? Do you happen to know why?

I have no idea.

4. Sensations are powerful things, and often certain scents, sounds, touches, etc. can invoke memories strongly associated with them. Which have imprinted in your character's mind?

Making love to his sister often brings back memories of their first sexual experiences.

5. How'd they get along with their parents and/or other relatives?

Much better than most families.

6. If your character had to choose one friend they've valued over all others, who would it be?

Not including family or Ryan, I'd probably say Mark.

7. What's the worst injury they've ever gotten?

I'd say a broken leg.  He probably broke his wrist once, and that kept him from playing games, so he'd probably say that was worse.

8. How many places has this character lived in? What stands out most about those places to them?

Just two places, and both in the same city, so not much difference.

9. If the character could erase one memory from their mind, what would it be?

I don't know.

10. What was the character's economic situation?

Stable.  Not poor, but not swimming in money, either.

11. What are the character's three clearest memories?

First sex lessons, winning the karate tournament, and the births of his younger family members.  Yes, that's more than three, but who cares?

12. If the character could go back and speak to a younger version of themself, what would they say?

How wonderful a family he and his sister would end up having.

13. If the character could go back and choose their sex at birth, what would they choose?

I think he's pretty happy being a male.

14. Describe the character's love life throughout the years.

Dedicated to his twin sister from a young age.  Around age ten he discovered his best friend Ryan had a crush on him, and decided to give Ryan a chance.  The three became a love triangle and remain together.

15. How did the family that raised this character influence them?

Well, the incest thing is probably a big deal.  Also, his parents' love of video games influences his love of them, as well.  His mother Vera's art got him doodling as a child, but he didn't really have the passion for it that his mom did.

16. If this character could "unmeet" someone in their life, who would they choose?

Bethany and Brian's parents.  But then that would mean unmeeting Bethany and Brian, and he wouldn't do that.

17. If the character could choose different parents for themselves, who would they choose and why?

I think he's perfectly happy with his parents.

18. Does this character feel guilty about anything in the past?

I think he might feel guilty for being a bit of a jerk to Celia when playing games.  And maybe getting a little too physical when roughhousing.  And perhaps saying really bad things when he got angry.  But then she was just as bad.  Siblings, ya know.

19. If the character were asked to associate an adjective with different stages of their life, what would they choose and why?

Loving  for the pre-teenage years, because of the incest.  Thrilled for the teenage years, because of the births of his children and youngest sibling.  Proud for his adult years for how well his children turned out.

20. If the character could choose to have themselves born at a specific time period, which would they pick and why?

I think he's happy with the era he's in.

Interesting world in ace's would Genetic diseases, disorders, and mutations are not a problem among the long lived species they're naturally immune to them. Can't say the same for the short lived species and as for sex cubs dun usually start having sexy till they're at least 2,000 years old that would 2 in short lived species. Or when every they fill ready because Ace didn't get laid till he was 5,000 his twin sister had sex when she was 3,000 a lot sooner then ace. Incest is also not taboo in his ace's universe depending on where you live. it's mostly only taboo with the short lived species. Also running around naked in public is acceptable. Witch Remind me i I've been meaning to write a journal explaining about ace's universe but never got around to it.
