Rest in peace to Pepe the Frog. A character who was corrupted and killed by political agendas and malicious intent. I honestly somewhat feel for Matt Furie because I feel that him killing off his own character was a sign of frustration towards how his character had become used for a political voice rather than just a source of entertainment. I can understand that as a creator honestly. I wish the best for him honestly.
Yeah honestly I think what killed Pepe was the fact that people tried making it all political and such. It all started because the Clinton campaign (I believe it was) that started the whole "Pepe is a white supremacist icon" nonsense. Then you have people like that Richard Spencer guy who got punched in the face that was wearing a Pepe badge.
