his shirt says 穢れ kegare if you translate it directly it means impurity but that doesn't really explain the full meaning of kegare kegare is the concept of becoming stale becoming impure through stagnation like an untended pool left to become super nasty after weeks without cleaning or like how my life is stagnating turning into an endless struggle of me trying to get out of academia but being held back or pushed right the fuck back in making sure that I stay there forever and ever and ever and ever and ever... this never ending cycle of me being cycling between being a total shut in and being a failure with absolutely no progress being made towards me being a decent human being... *writhes in agony and despair*
