thy are just fragments of a galaxy supernova and thy started out as some snake thing thy come across an old battle site full of armour and thy merge with different armour moulding it into their form.
and their food its supernova energy thy can get it from the sun but some prey on their own kind feeding until there is only the armour shell left and that makes the absorber become even stronger it's like a drug
