A little late, but still Friday morning! It's been really hard to concentrate as of lately, but... I'm still at it. I suppose you've all been waiting for this, so I won't draw it out too long.

Jaaaaysus mercy. This is a really good page! The subtle but really ramped up tone change is cemented with the color wash. Her face doesn't go outlandishly distorted- juuuust enough to let you know something's really really wrong. And finally, the margin doodles which may have felt incidental up to this point finally trail into a viciously grinning stylized mouth. This is def one of my favorite parts of the comic- and it doesn't even have Cass in it!

Hehe. Well, I liked the filigree on this one a lot more the morning after, especially if you don't see the whole thing all at once and then you scroll down, it looks like the page is going to try and eat you.
Also, the color wash in the lower portion of the page made it look SO much better. Originally the only red on the page was her eyes and it was nice, but the slow transition to red background really made the page pop a lot more.
