Frell is the most successful alchemist of his enclave. Which means he is still alive after his first week on the job. The best traits for a Yinglet alchemist are quick reflexes and fire/acid resistant fur.
Interestingly he made his first discovery not in the lab but in the kitchen. When preparing lunch he created a horrible smelly thing that turned out to be great fertilizer for mushrooms.
