Whoot!  Happy to have finished this one.   While I enjoy drawing my toons and such, there's something to be said about drawing something more complex.  As always there were a few minor nitpicks, but all in all I'm quite happy with how this turned out!  n.n

Anywho, here's a bit of a bio for her.

- Petalfist is a Kitsune from the Plane of Kamigawa.  Some time after the end of the great Kami War had ended and life for the mortal folk began to return to normal, she was born in a small Kitsune village in the Towabara Plains.  She had a strong connection to the white mana of the vast plains, and took as easily to clerical magics as a duck takes to water.  As she grew older, so too did her natural talent in the healing arts grow.  Still, even though the Kami War had ended, Kamigawa was far from safe.  Bandits and mercenaries threatened poor villages and plundered hapless travelers along what would've been safe roads.  Akki were keep on honing their explosive arts on any that got too near their territories, and worse yet ogres and oni still roamed the land, taking glee in slaughtering any weak enough or twisting them into unholy servitude.
    Because of this Petalfist traveled to the Jukai Forest, seeking to learn the ways of the Budoka and Kannushi monks.  While the trials were perilous and convincing the humans and orochi to teach her wasn't easy, she did find solace in the fact that the forest itself seemed to approve of her as an innate ability to weave green mana awoke in her.  It was during her training in the Jukai that she aquired her second tail.  However that wouldn't be the only grand moment of her life discovered in the Jukai.
    On one fateful day, she had traveled deep into the Jukai, a journey meant to further strengthen her bond with the forest and in turn strengthen her ability to utilize nature's magic.  She had ventured deeper into the seemingly endless woods than she ever had before.  It was there that she had been ambushed by a massive beast.  The predator had fangs and claws that seemed nearly half as large as she was tall.  Her heart racing, she cast spells to enhance her strength and ready her body for the fight to take place.   She braced herself as the beast lunged at her, massive scythe-like claw filled paw barring down on her with a force strong enough to break a tree in half.  It was at that moment, when claws should have met fur and flesh, that Petalbrew's spark ignited.  In a massive whirlwind of white and green mana she was taken from Kamigawa and arrived in a different Plane all together.
    She panted, bracing herself for a blow that never came.  When she realized what had happened, she stood dumbfounded as she looked around at the surroundings that felt so alien to her.   The land was different, the trees, the fields..  She had arrived in Bant, a shard of Alara post Conflux.   While the land was different, she could still feel the pull of green and white mana, so with that knowledge in hand she set forth to find a settlement of some kind.   Along the way she was grateful to find humans dwelled in this land, though there were races she was unfamiliar with.  The cat-like people called the Qasali were strange at first but somehow felt fitting given there was the rat people, the Nezumi, back on Kamigawa.   She didn't know how to react to the Rhoxes however, the race of rhino-like people were big, sturdy, much like any beast she had encountered, but were also smart, and surprisingly gentle unless provoked.  On a rare occasion she'd catch glimpse of an Angel, to which she amused herself at the thought of the Soratami back home having to deal with humans with bird wings.  Needless to say there were many questions about what she was.  Apparently neither Kitsune or foxes in general existed in this land, and she had to politely correct many children that called her a 'Puppy Lady'.  However she did learn that the people of Bant had a caste of warriors known as Knights, brave men and women that fought with strength an honor, not unlike the Samurai of her homeland.  She decided that she would train here in this new land and learn what she could to become stronger.  It wouldn't take long until she was needed either, as it seemed that even in the picturesque land of Bant danger loomed on the horizons.  It was during her time on Bant that she earned her third tail.

Petalfist is a cleric monk with strong ties to green and white mana.  While she is adept at casting healing spells of varying kinds, she is also equally adept at pummeling her foes with her fists, weilding spells that strengthen her body.  She is kind hearted to good folk, children, men and women trying to lead good lives, and doesn't hesitate to help them when danger rises, wether it's in the form of bandits, or some monstrous beast or hydra.
