Agh, I am loving this Sonic x Mario art of yours; I didn't even realize I adored this crossover pairing until I saw these pictures. <3 This particular style you gave Sonic here reminds me of the way Sally's face is structured, which is quite interesting, I must say. And this comic idea you mention on your other submission sounds great! I hope you can find the time to make it. =)

I am having some struggle with getting them in compatible styles... Still not sure what to use for the comic, but I like where this one is going. And yeah, I had to do something with Sonic's face because his cyclop eyes looked too weird at this detail level. I glanced at porcupos actually; in-comic that's his first job on a "game" set - nameless extra for SMB2 ;p I sure hope I can find the time, too. :D I have a crapton of ideas for it, but it badly needs a timeline and plot outline ^^;

Yeah, this style here would look pretty great in the comic; I find that it would allow for Sonic's eyes to be more expressive than if he were to be drawn as the usual one-eyed monster he is. XD
That porcupo idea is pretty neat from what I hear (though I'm shamed to say I had to look up what porcupos were, as the only Mario games I've really ever played were that of the Paper Mario spinoff ^^;)! But anyway, if you would ever like to discuss the comic's plot or work out certain scenes to get things rollin', I'm here to help. C=

Sorry for not getting around to replying until now, and for not having your friggen prize art done yet - I'm on it. I have to focus on earning my rent the next 10 days, but I might still be able to sketch it at least.
Oh, I have to look names and such up all the time. (Me, I mostly played Super Mario Bros. 1, 2 and MOST of all 3, it's tons of fun - though I did play Super Mario 64 and Yoshi's Story a lot, too. Not very well versed, though my interest was awakened by my "research" for this idea XD Paper Mario designs look so freaking cute... :D)
