Come on, it's post-splice culture! It's so easy to not be fat! Their food is super healthy, their metabolisms are more easily swayed, exercise gets results more quickly... As I explore with Quincey, the end result is that most people aren't fat (at least to the extent of Becky and Quincey) unless they make a deliberate effort to bulk it up!
Becks may see it as a necessity to be a bunny bounder of destructive force... but I believe I see it a little differently. ;3

That's definitely true about the culture of the time, and I can imagine it's maybe somewhat deliberate on her part. She's short enough to still be quite nimble with it as well. Maybe it's better to say she's content with being fat rather than happy, just not quite willing to show off her body too much.
