"I Own my OC's Nothing Else"
2012 was a strange year for me, one year from graduation, start of senior year in the fall, and the year that with the help of my friend, I decided to break out of my shell and start fighting back against my anxiety. I made choices in this year that still affect my life today. For example, if I hadn't started pushing myself, I wouldn't be as comfortable talking with people as I am today. I think that the half hour speech I gave on how to draw a cartoon character helped, which is an interesting story itself, as I had prepared 5 presentations, one on Bugs Bunny, one on a generic robot, one on a Sonic style echidna, one on Bender, and one on Homer Simpson, and gave the class a choice on which one they wanted, fully prepared for the Bender speech. Because Murphy's Law is a thing, they chose the echidna, which I only included as a call back to one of my early speeches (The Public Speaking Teacher enjoyed call backs). So I had to spend half an hour teaching 30 people how to draw like I did XD I must say that I was not surprised at all to find I was the only one who actually drew in that class. Though based on things they might all have been Sonic fans. Random Story from my School days aside, 2012 was a good year for me.
