Character Description
Bega is the leader of the Nebi and the middleman between the Hebi family and the Nebi. He knows all the rules and how to tailor them to help others. However he is the implementer of Lodus Hebi's recent actions and the public are scared and/or hateful towards him as a consequence. Bega never liked doing what Lodus ordered him to do but he was powerless to prevent it. Bega regrets what he did and the fact he didn't stand up to Lodus at the time but he uses his unusual position to do good deeds of questionable legality as away of making amends. He's very loyal to the Nebi who took him in and is like a family to him. This gives him power but also acts against him in pleasing the public.
Personality
Bega is a very methodical person who follows the rules and has too much of an interest in reading books and learning facts. However Bega is polite and friendly and a true gentlemen. He's not socially awkward however and can be quite cheeky in the way he exploits the system for the benefit of the unfortunate. You'd think that would make him popular with the public but due to him being the implementer of Lodus' plans of late, the public has taken a distinct dislike to him. Bega doesn't like suffering and having to do such cruel things tears him up inside though he rarely lets his true feeling show. He cares deeply for everyone he meets especially the Nebi and his meddling with the law in favor of helping others might get him in trouble. He rarely does the hard work himself and instead instructs others but if required he'll jump in without a second thought. He can appear arrogant sometimes but he has a heart of gold underneath.

likes rules, order, keeping everything in check and being part of the Nebi, dislikes being called egotistical, people fearing him, rogue people under his wing and having to do things he regrets.
Background/History
Bega lived as a Hebi around the town of Ebenhardt. He's part of a group of Hebi family members in Ebenhardt that isn't part of the lordship lineage. His ancestors used to live in Eben for many generations alongside the lordship lineage of the family. His family have lived there until relatively recently when members slowly moved away one by one. Bega is the only member of his branch of the family that stayed in Eben up until today, with his siblings moving out only recently. Bega spent his life as a police officer, rose up the ranks to become the police chief, joined the local army division and rose up to be the local general. Quite an achievement for someone of such a young age. He then left the army and joined the Nebi as a bookkeeper. He rose the ranks very quickly and became the foreman and director, the leader of the Nebi group and middleman between the Nebi group and the Hebi family. Bega is looked up to by the Nebi and respected. Likewise the Hebi family respect Bega as a powerful leader of men and a worthy ally. Bega loves his job and despite being so young for a leader of his stature everyone listens to what he has to say. However his influence doesn't spread beyond the Hebi family's grasp and into the general public, which has lead to some friction between the Nebi and the citizens of Ebenhardt.
Relatives/Family
Technically Mata is Bega's nearest relative since they are from a branches of the family that are close, they both have the same great grandmother. However the two sides of the family lost contact with each other when Mata and Bega's parents were born. Bega could never hope to inherit the Hebi legacy though as even if Mastus' children were disinherited the lineage would fall to Mastus' side of the family tree over Mata's. Other closer members of the Hebi family live around Ebenhardt though Bega has learned to associate himself more with the Nebi in the estate near Hebi manor. Within the estate he's the authority on Nebi activity and hands down the orders from the Hebi. This means he's close to both groups but the Nebi are like family to him.
World/Setting
The Valhalor world is a mixture between real-world, fantasy and sci-fi settings with the second item being a more dominant factor. There are 8 islands in Valhalor, 5 of which are divided into multiple countries. Many years ago there was a war between the Dozers of Meka Island and the Yovans of South Island, which resulted in Valhalor being divided into 2 warring alliances. Grenwuld is a country in South Island that is strongly fantasy themed, especially Eben county. Eben is mostly farmland and has a European look. It's home to many anthropomorphic animals as well as many tribal villages near its outskirts. Ebenhardt City is the main setting for the Albion demo which this character is from. The city is rather small but has many other settlements around it. Its main feature is the park in its center and the college next door. There's not much in the way of shops, restaurants and smiths so choice isn't really available. Eben used to be a tourist attraction due to its historical ancestry with the dawning of civilization though nowadays few care about that especially with the warring alliances all around Valhalor. Crime has become a problem around Eben due to its scattered settlements each developing their own gangs, each fighting for a place at the top. It's the perfect place for an upstart group of mercenaries to call home, like the Ebenhand.

Short with slender square snake head with thin cylindrical torso and limbs, sometimes has neck fan. Covered in black scales, black eyes and bald.

white shirt with short sleeves, tan waist coat with black fire cross wind emblem, tan suit trousers with white fabric on the shins.
Accessories
often has a clipboard with paper in it and a fountain pen style ballpoint pen attached to it via some twine. also carries a pda and a phone watch.
