Character Description
Nano-Byte is a young cub with a chubby body, short hair and various digital markings all over his body.
Nano can be considered as "living data". He is able to transfer his physical being in and out of complex computers and a handful of other devices, as well as travel along connect digital networks. He perceives data as tangible objects while inside cyberspace, such as viewing documents as books or papers rather than the raw code that it is.
Personality
Silly and playful, though vastly intelligent in an academic sense
Background/History
Nano-Byte was originally born as Adrian Silver, a newborn that had perished in child birth but still had healthy operational organs. While his other organs were saved for operations on other newborns in need of transplants, his brain itself was preserved and donated to a research group that was formating a leading AI program like none ever before.
Thus after the death of Adrian, the childs brain was used as a base for their highly experimental AI system, meant to evolve itself in a similar but accelerated pace to any known intelligent lifeform. Their methods however were kept classified, though there is some evidence that there was some help from the supernatural rather than the technological.
Nicknamed "Nano-Byte", the small boy was born again in a virtual cyberspace designed to track his evolution so to speak. Though despite his every virtual breath being monitored, he was none the wiser to any of it. That was until their research sight was abandoned within a few years, assumingly leaving Nano to rot along with the rest of their hard research.
That was until the small boy found his way out of his virtual holdings, finding himself in the outside world with his own flesh and blood body. And soon enough he found this body wasn't exactly locked out of where it came from. While not fully understanding how or why he was created, Nano keeps his primary dwelling inside of cyberspace as he travels about looking for his place in the world
Clothing
Nano typically wears not much more than a loincloth to keep some sort of modesty, though he does have a few sets of clothes he'll wear on occasion
