First Rendering
Here's another design I did for Komickrazi's fursuit design contest. This one is by far my favorite and I really want to get a suit of it made some day. Love fu-dogs, the culture and the story behind them. Like Yao these designs were inspired by two things the statue guardians they have all over Asia and the Chinese New Year celebrations. I was really into the lion dances and I'm still a huge fan of them and would really like to see the performances in person one day. For the new year they are symbols of good luck and frightening the bad away. Matsuri in particular was based off the Southern Lion Dancers. The name means  Festival in Japanese.
The fursuits were also inspired by Beastcub's Fu Manchu build.
