I just had a cute idea in my head I wanted to draw for no reason. and then as a character for some reason I wanted to use that purle filly I designed who had no real purpose. I ended up with Pinkie on the bottom cus you all know how I love the ponk, and it kinda fitted her anyway. but then I realised... that filly looks way too much like her kid to not be!
I was messing around with her eyes and I really like what I came up with eventually. Heterochromia (one eye a different colour from the other) but a much more subtle variant than artists usually do. Cus I was messing with turquoises (being a mix between the green eyes and blue eyes) and was trying to decide which I liked better so I just made one eye slightly more green (like the father's) and one eye slightly more blue (like the mother's) which I thought was cute hehe All her colours as you can see from the two images above are a fair bit of a mix between the two parents' colours. in fact for some parts of her I'd literally overlayed the colours and just messed with opacity until I got colours I liked between them haha
Anywho yeh, Pinkie being silly with her daughter and messing around. I can totally see her being the most silly fun mum ever, and her children's lunch boxes would be bursting with cakes and treats that she hoof made lol
