After some discussion sparked inspiration among friends, I had to tackle designing a new character out of a maned wolf--so here she is! Her name is Kamila, a maned wolf native to Bolivia who later emigrated to the United States. While her life has taken her in a number of directions, she ultimately pursued a career in the military--and later, the private security sector. She's 5'10" and in rather good shape! Technically, she's eventually the sister-in-law to Laetoria Selach.
As for the actual nitty gritty for this piece--while I had been making a big point of trying to keep every new piece an active pose with an elaborate background, this time I just plain felt like hunkering down and rolling out a nice straightforward character reference. Even given that, I'm very pleased with the results! I also made a point of wanting to finally tackle doing 'paper doll' clothing layering to try an assortment of different outfits--so please pardon me if you see a couple variations of this piece in the near future (including the naked version, which I'll upload in a short bit--this one just happened to come out first.)
