Art by Candy (possibly Candycat or candykatt or something similar, but sadly, I can't remember specifically who since this was so early in the year) from Fur Squared 2016.

Piper Caniche (pronounced "Can-neesh") is a toon poodle character who grew up in the lower classes during her childhood (as is standard for any toon who had not had a chance to pursue showbiz) and had studied quite a bit on music. Unfortunately, mainstream music has no place for a toon performer, so her best chance for a job was to be a radio DJ.

She's still passionate about music, and it shows in her zest for the art and her tendency to spent a lot of time wither listening to an mp3 player or playing some music just for fun, usually a cover of something from the 50s, 60s or 70s.

Also, this isn't very well known in her world, but she's a lesbian. Her world kinda has this crazy idea that toons are only straight or asexual, based on the general idea that since cartoon are "just kid stuff", toons themselves must effectively be kids, no matter how mature they actually are. (Yeah, the world has its own social issues in that regard).
