Not entirely loyal to Nanaki's actual appearance, but accuracy wasn't a huge priority for me. I was actually just practicing drawing large cats, and then it evolved into this :) What is Nanaki anyway? Is he a cat?? Is he a dog?? The world will never know. Shading was actually kinda hard since there were two sources of light, and with muti-colored fur. But I tried -_-

The species is most frequently referred to as lion-like, and a female in Before Crisis resembles a lioness, but also has traits of wolves. In Advent Children Red takes a hit and makes a dog squeal sound.
