She always had them, but almost no one draws them (keeping them tamped down behind her headband).

I agree with you, she had them, but most artists draw them hidden from view. Hope to see more artwork of Jenny with her ears visible.

There is an episode that focuses on Jenny's home planet and a lot of her own species are shown with their ears exposed, you usually don't see art of her with the ears exposed because of her head wear.
