One day, he dimensionally travels into the world of PoKe'MoN (where/when humans are extinct and PoKe'MoN are anthros.) but in order to stay hidden he needed to disguise himself and figured the best way was in plain sight.

But when taking his form as a Shiny Ninetales he didn't realize it was a rare sight to see a shiny PoKe'MoN but he felt comfortable and stuck w/ it, along w/ his changed clothing to match his new PoKe'MoN form.
