Maniac Mansion - Dave's theme (16Bit remix)

Dave's Theme from the Game "Maniac Mansion" (NES version), re-arranged like it could have sound when this game would have had a CD soundtrack at that time.

One of my most favorite games EVER and i still prefer the US and European NES version over the PC and C64 version.
Watch out for slimy meteors and purple tentacles.

I do agree and think the NES version was better except for having to use a controller to make selections and I missed the few adult jokes like 'I should of tied you to my bed' comment.
I miss the classic point and click games.

Haha yea! I was really surprised to see these jokes when i played the PC version for the first time ^^
And yea, i miss these kind of games too. Loved the atmosphere and there were moments where i was walking through the mansion and was shocked because of the sudden dorbell when there was all silence most of the time.

I remember Maniac Mansion if it was only yesterday, ah, good times. I had the nes version myself. The controls took a while to get used to though, but still, great fun all the same. Awesome cover, man. I'm dancing already!

Haha yay!!! Yeah, it was really a beat for the feet :D
I agree, the controls were quite strange at first but then it was really good to play with. When my father got that game on christmas 1991 (or was it 1992?) i already knew Maniac Mansion from the commodore 64 because we had the C64 for a few days from a good friend from my father. And i used to be sick around that time and had to stay at home and hat plenty of time to get into that game, together with a few other including "Winter games" :)
