Well, those are my picks for what I think were my best works each month of the year. Pretty straightforward.
I'm not sure how many of you know this, but I personally don't think very much of going from one year to the next. Honestly, every year has its ups and downs, and very rarely does one year feel definitively better than another to me. 2016 had both very shitty and very fantastic moments. For example, I lost a friend I was close to, but I'm also living with the person I love most now. I have a lot of good and bad memories I'll be keeping with me. It is what it is.
A lot of people seem to have hated 2016 and have high hopes for 2017, but as for me, all I can really say is this year was overall “okay” and I expect the next one to be about the same.
