I like the difference! Sonic's still just as sexy and smug, and I think it's cool how his hair is slightly different. Also, while the dynamic lighting and shading in the old pic works for the scene, the newer one is a lot easier to see at a smaller size. The details like his fingerless gloves and speedo come through more. :) And personally, I like the fact that 2016 Sonic doesn't have ear piercings XD. Though it is still sexy either way.
