My first commission work! They wanted the CMC to take a quick dip in the river fully clothed, something simple and cute~
Story by them.

“Okay…” said Scootaloo, “Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea after all.” She and her friends, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle were standing precariously on a tree that had fallen over the river just southeast of Ponyville.
“Oh now she admits it!” said Applebloom.
“So… What do we do now?” asked Sweetie Belle, “I don’t think we can reach the other side without falling in.”
“We can’t go back either;” said Applebloom, “This thing’s just too unbalanced.” Hearing this, Scootaloo felt guilty; it was her stupid idea to try to cross the log in the first place. But remembering one of her friendship lessons with Twilight, she realized that it was her responsibility to get her friends off safely, even if it meant compromising a little bit.
“Well…” said Scootaloo, “I guess our best option now is to jump into the river.”
“Really?” asked Applebloom, “That’s your best suggestion?”
“I don’t know…” said Sweetie Belle, “Rarity might not be happy if I came home all wet.”
“But think about it…” said Scootaloo, “If we try to get off the log in either direction we’re only going to end up falling in; and if we go in the wrong way we could end up hurting ourselves. I’m sure Rarity and Applejack would rather you come home dripping wet than with a serious injury.”
“That is a good point…” said Applebloom.
“And besides…” said Scootaloo, “It would be pretty humiliating if we fell in, but a lot of fun if we jumped in! If we’re going to get in trouble for coming home wet, we might as well have some fun before we do.” Sweetie Belle thought for a moment, then said,
“I guess we’re going swimming!”
“Eeyup!” said Applebloom, “Let’s have some fun!”

“Okay, Girls;” said Scootaloo, “Are we all ready?”
“Sure are!” said Applebloom.
“Ready when you are!” said Sweetie Belle.
“Okay…” said Scootaloo, “On the count of three. One… Two… Three… CRAZY HORSE!!
“LOOK OUT BELOW!!”
“YAHOO!!” KERSPLASHO!!! The Crusaders felt themselves immersed in the water and their dry clothes become waterlogged in an instant. They sank to the bottom (which was thankfully deep enough to cushion their landing), then pushed off and swam for the surface. Upon surfacing, the girls each drew in a sharp breath and relaxed; treading water.
“WHOO-WHEE!” shouted Applebloom, “That felt so good!”
“It’s so cold!” Sweetie Belle laughed.
“Wow;” said Scootaloo, “There really is a big difference. I mean… If we had fallen in, we’d all be humiliated about it.”
“But I don’t feel humiliated since we did it on purpose;” said Sweetie Belle, “And it was actually REALLY fun!”
“Well we’re here now;” said Applebloom, “And if we’re gonna get in trouble when we get home, we might as well enjoy it!”

"Uuwaahh!" Sweetie shouts once she bursts up above the water, her mane whipping back and forth as she shakes her head. The cool clean water cooled her instantly, a breath of fresh air compared to the harsh rays of the sun.
"Ack!" Scootaloo suddenly shouts as a smirking Apple Bloom sends a wave of water crashing over her friend, matting her coat and mane down.
Sweetie Belle watches with a giggle before turning over onto her back and gliding through the water, letting out a soft sigh. Now that she thought about it, diving into the river on such a warm day really was a good idea after all.

Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle all lay down on the banks and stretched out. The pleasant heat radiating off of Celestia’s sun warmed their bodies and started to evaporate the droplets of water lingering on their clothes.
“That was the best fun I’ve had in a long time.” said Sweetie Belle.
“Ditto!” said Scootaloo, “The best part was diving to explore the bottom of the river.”
“Ah’m just glad the water wasn’t too cold;” said Applebloom, “At least once we got used to it.”
“Yeah!” laughed Scootaloo. Then she paused and looked over at Sweetie Belle. “Say, Sweetie Belle…” she said, “Do you really think Rarity will be all that mad about you getting wet like that?”
“Well, now that I think of it;” said Sweetie Belle, “I think she’ll be glad that I had fun and came home safe and well.”
“Applejack definitely won’t mind;” said Applebloom, “Neither will Granny or Big Mac.”
“That’s a relief;” said Scootaloo, “If you did get in trouble, you could always throw me underneath the train since it was my idea.”
“Well we did go along with it…” giggled Sweetie Belle, “And we kept all our clothes; unlike what happened to Rarity that one time in the river.”
“Oh yeah!” said Applebloom, “Ah remember that day! That was so funny!”
“Wait, wha?” asked Scootaloo, “Am I missing something here?” Applebloom and Sweetie Belle shared a glance and giggled.
“Well…” said Applebloom, “It all started one afternoon when mah sister and Ah went for a walk along the river with Sweetie Belle and Rarity…”
