Thanks to everyone here for all the input! I've picked a blush now, and voting is all done.

I toyed around some more, and these are the four blushes I settled on choosing from. I did the test on both Devon and Keri, using the same 4 between them, so that I could make sure it looked good on both.

1. The current blush, said by most to be too bright
2. Very dark, towards black but still red, a blob of colour rather than lines
3. Slightly darker, lines, and done with 50% opacity
4. Slightly darker, done with a fuzzy brush, blob of colour

I've already chosen which one I think I'll be using, but I want to hear your opinions before I voice my own.

Devon, I like #1, but otherwise 4 for both, but would avoid having it go right over Devon's nose...

It's supposed to show that he's extremely embarrassed, kind of like a 10 on the embarrassment scale, by taking up almost all of his cheek area. I'm kind of torn on whether I like it better separated or as one big blush, myself.
